it is like regular visits to an older relative, sometimes a bit odd but consistently charming and reassuring.
Same here, I feel comfortable as if I am home. I know the airport (well as well as I can), I know the CCR, and I know my seat. It is always there waiting for me.
Food/lounges…. I don't fly to eat or sit in lounges. Normally I have a big meal before I fly or have a dinner/lunch when I land. Can't stand food that is reheated in whatever form. I like freshly cooked food.
The last 6 months I have flown other airlines, yes they were superior to BA, but BA is home.
