LoM is correct though, HH-D lounge benefit is more valuable than the comped minibar, especially to me, as I don't drink spirits, just beer+colas.
Kind of wondering with entry type room rates now settling around £350 versus previous £230-280 as an IC, if extra is to replace revenue on giving away free breakfast to HHG/HHD and free lounge to HHD elites.
I really want to try post Conrad switch, but the extra £100/night is currently stopping me, and the two corporate codes I have use of don't work to reduce the rate here.
Ah, thanks for the clarification, I wasn't aware of the exec room minibar situation here when it was an IC, I was going by my experience as an IC Amb at other properties.
Let's hope they do lower the entry level room price here so people do stay on cash rates and not just points or P + C.
