Is it common for first and club tickets to be the same price? I was checking expert flyer for prices HEL-JFK in March 2015 and at first couldn't believe that booking class A (first) is 2359e and class I (club) is exactly the same price.
Doing a test booking at ba.com found the same - club and first returns were the same price!
There is an offer until end of october of a free upgrade to first but that only applies if you book in club (JCDR not I) and then you get an upgrade to first for one way - which seems pointless if you can book in first to begin with and travel in first both ways.
