I wouldn't like it because I wouldn't want to feel responsible for the FA's device. It would be easy to knock it onto the floor and break it or spill a beverage on it, especially if you wake up and aren't aware that it's there. Also, if someone were to steal the thing while you're sleeping, would the suspicion fall on you?
