Probably a FAM issue, but I had my EC aisle seats changed 3 time in 4 days on a DTW to AMS flight next month. Really odd.
Best to make a hard copy of your seats to PDF to DL.
Why? DL doesn't promise you a certain seat, even with selecting a seat before departure. In some cases they may have even moved you because of required re-seating of a FAM, a disabled person, etc. You may have even changed seats at one point and then decided to switch back, but it's no longer available. A printed PDF does nothing to get you that seat back.
