sdsearch, that's all well and good, but it's a flatly unreasonable burden to put on the customer, particularly when the first knowledge is at check-in.
Having said that, we/I have found ourselves in accessible rooms a few times, shower only set off by a curtain etc. But the bed set-up was right, so we were OK.
Hyatt tries to police itself by giving a hefty points compensation for a wrong bed or smoking assignment, but that's just for Gold Passport members, and maybe just elites. I know, of no use here.
