Hi! I think this is my first post on this forum, so be gentle, please! Anyway, I will be traveling with my brother and elderly mother to Japan at the beginning of November. We would like to go from Onomichi to Imabari, but from my initial research it looks like there is no ferry that goes from point to point. One goes from Onomichi to, well, I can't remember the name of the island, and then another ferry goes from a different island (and the opposite end from the first ferry) to Imabari. So, I am trying to figure out the best and perhaps most scenic approach. Take both ferries but take a taxi from one ferry to the other, or take a bus or train or something to the start of the other ferry? Any suggestions would be most welcome!
