it was not considered clothes but as tailor. tailoring is not considering clothings even though some in singapore like marcella advertise for citi cards for additional rewards which i think, may not receive 10x points too!
Overseas is like a guessing game unless you are very sure it will earn 10x points with Citi Rewards Card.
I made another transaction for dinner at the basement
foodcourt at SHIN KONG MITSUKOSHI Dept in Taipei, they accept PayWave and luckily I use PayWave with UOB PPV. The MCC code is not 5311 but 5812 Eating places and Restaurants. Luckily I did not charge to Citi Rewards Card. I can charge it to UOB Preferred AMEX if they accepted AMEX. I bought soft ice-cream at a shop at the food court level and charge it to Citi Rewards card since it was <S$5 and its 5311!! Earns 10x Citidollars!!
The food court at Shin-Chitose airport Level 4's MCC is not 5812 but 5399 Misc. General Merchandise. Strange!!
This is even more strange. I bought inflight duty free on 2 different EVA Air flights. The 2nd transaction was charged to UOB PRVI Miles looks like this:
12 Sep 2014
16 Sep 2014
EVA AIRWAYS IN FLIGHT DUTTAIPEI CITY TW
TWD 410.00
SGD 17.86
MCC Code: 4511 Airlines, Air Carriers ( not listed elsewhere)
Earlier I mentioned:
10/09/2014
*EVA AIRWAYS CORPORATIO TAOYUAN TW TWD 410.00
SGD 17.71
This is for EVA Air SkyShop.

Cannot charge to Citi Rewards Card!!
MCC code is 3084: EVA Air!!
Both are for the Hello Kitty Jet jigsaw puzzle for different Hello Kitty Jets bought on different flights.
