I've had only wonderful stays at the Madera but I will note that I've seen CS drop all around lately. More so via phone CS, but also what appears to be new and/or poorly trained staff. Very much less attentive to detail than even a 6+ months ago (albeit the minibar issue seems to be on going)

Cheers -

We're easy going and as Inner Circle members, Kimpton generally takes very good care of us, so we weren't going to complain or make an issue out of something small. We simply left the last guest's garbage outside the door next to their room service tray. I will admit though, it did make me question what else was missed in cleaning if the mini-bar was overlooked.

We made sure to check the bar pricing list to ensure that veggie drink wasn't something on it. A couple days after checking out of the room, I noticed a $11.00 additional charge from the Madera on my card.

Pretty sure it was something to do with that mini-bar, I contacted Kimpton support by e-mail and explained the situation, that I took nothing from the fridge, and would like to be reimbursed the $11.00 charge. It has now been about two weeks and I have heard nothing back from Kimpton.

Come on Kimpton, you guys are wonderful most of the time and I understand that mistakes happen, but failing to correct them and ignoring your most loyal guests? Definitely not feeling the #KimptonLove at the moment.
