The ease of integrating new planes into an existing line up of Airbus and Bombardier aircrafts is something that I can't argue with as it makes sense. But if Embraer has a truly superior product by a mile, confirmed here by 2 knowledgeable flyers, AC should go with Embraer even though Bombardier is a Canadian company. Embraer has complained bitterly that our federal gov't has guaranteed foreign airlines a load of money to buy Bombardier planes. They should compete on the merits of their products without gov't help.
