I read it (perhaps incorrectly) that payment was made to the travel agent for the lodging instead of to the SPG property. This would make the stay ineligible for SPG benefits per the T&C of SPG.
I guess that info was in another post/thread? Don't see it above. If so (and I believe you), then I see what you mean.
