Can I use Iberia Plus account AVIOS to book either GOL or TAM one way domestic flight
Q:
1. Can I use Iberia Plus account AVIOS to book either GOL or TAM one way domestic flights in Brazil without having an Iberia flight on the same PNR?
2. Has anyone had success in booking either GOL or TAM flights using Iberia AVIOS?
3. How do I search for TAM awards on the TAM website?
Basically
I’m trying to book one way domestic internal flights in Brazil using Iberia plus account Avios as there is no availability showing on BA.com for my dates-even though there are TAM and GOL award flights available (looking at Expertflyer for GOL)
Having had the run around from several IB agents who were clueless I thought I had found the one who knew what she was doing.
However:
Having found GOL flights available and confirming these could be booked using AVIOS she came upon an error:
Supposedly these flights have to be booked in association with an Iberia flight. This is also the case for TAM domestic too.
So before I ring again in the hope of trying again and wasting more time would appreciate andy past experiences.
