Lucky you to have gotten a receipt.

The exact same thing happened to me at Sheraton Mountain Vista in Avon and they were not able to provide me with a receipt. I was charged for no-show and no point or stay/night credit. After intervention by my Ambassador, Sheraton Mountain Vista credited me with 2K goodwill point but still no stay/night credit. I didn't care enough to pursue further as I am LTPlat.
