When a CO flight from Houston to Wash DC hit some severe turbulence, at least pax were reportedly injured. Some complained that the pilots waited too long to warn the pax.

Wear those seat belts please!

Sometimes a pilot is not aware that turbulence is an immediate threat!

Turbulence leaves 5 passengers injured

Five passengers aboard a Houston-bound Continental Airlines flight were injured Thursday evening when air turbulence caused the plane to drop several hundred feet in the air.

Flight 1980 passengers were injured on the Boeing 737-700 about 40 minutes before arrival at Bush Intercontinental Airport, a spokeswoman for the Houston-based airline said.

The flight, which originated at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, landed safely, shortly before 7:30 p.m.
