I don't know, but they have uncovered the expansion joints on the upper deck and have affixed some huge crossbeams to them, for some reason.
The traffic congestion was not helped by the janitorial trucks, TSA vans, and other maintenance vehicles which used to park (yes PARK, unattended) on the arrivals level between terminals 1 and 2. I emailed the LAX management to alert them that these parked vehicles were taking up valuable curbside space and that one could easily stencil a van to read "Otis Elevator," park it there, and remotely detonate it. Often there is a large New Zealand Airlines jet parked close, which would only add to the destruction.
Never heard back from LAX. But, I do note that those trucks and vans are gone now.
I never write complaint letters, but this one seemed to have worked.
