My scenario was the same as far as the charges go. I'll be charging to the same place over and over again, and they'll finally flag it for "fraud" a month later. I get an e-mail, I click the option that says "I approve these charges" wait a few hours, try again, and I'm STILL shutdown. Cap1's system is completely broken. I've never been able to get the fraud lifted on my own. I call and tell them the automatic system doesn't work, but it doesn't do anything.
Strange, my e-mail specifically said to call in...which I did and verified both my identity and the charges in question and was on my way. I haven't charged anything to the card since because I am waiting for my statement to cut. Will be back to business as usual tomorrow.
I had read somewhere on the forums that Cap1 is one of the lenders that doesn't give a damn how you use your CL as long as you pay them back...I guess that's changing?
