I'm going to guess that this is UA976 IAD-DXB. For Wed-Fri, these flights look pretty busy in business class. Using KVS and Expertflyer, there are a handful of unassigned seats in the middle, but I would bank on those vanishing in the next 12/24 hours. You might ask about a paid upgrade (doable if you have a high fare Y ticket), or splash out for Y+ seating. Not great but better than nothing.
