Gate 4B appears to be usable.

I have no idea what they are going to do with all those different unconnected areas. I am encouraged that LAX may finally end the main terrorism danger of using Terminal 1, huge crowds next to the road at peak times or after an evacuation due to reported security breach. The Gate 1 area alone could handle a Disney-sized security queue.
