Expecting all hotels globally to have the same policies is not reasonable
I guess, expecting to have global hotel chains is not reasonable then either... Or having breakfast included into the rate at Holiday Inn Express worldwide...
I'm not saying that the terms should be the same everywhere. I'm just saying that a rate called "Best
Flexible" within an international hotel chain should be the same everywhere. Why not simply use a different name, like "Least
Restricted Rate" when one wants to include restrictions? But I guess the marketing department would fear that people might notice the restrictions more readily then and therefore vote against it.
