One of my tickets got downgraded SYD-BKK as well. I think I want to make unrelated changes to my award ticket (different airport) before the 747 comes back into the system. Will I be able to make unrelated changes for free with no status on United? I'm hoping this downgrade lets me change almost anything in the award ticket for free. This ticket was bought pre-devaluation.
