I call this the conspiracy industry. There's a whole set of companies out there that pump out this stuff continually, as there's a certain market out there that wants to buy it (and buy into it). I suspect that some of these authors don't believe themselves what they're writing - perhaps it's jus a business to them. Do you think that the publishers of the National Enquirer take everything they print seriously?
