When Orbitz went live last June, Southwest had recently started a two for one sale. Orbitz (and ITASoftware) was able to properly price these tickets. Travelocity & Expedia were publically objecting to Orbitz launch all the while their sites (Travelocity & Expeida) were unable to properly price two for one tickets. Most of the other airlines' web sites & adverting matching the Southwest sale suggested that the consumer phone their reservation center. I think it was ironic that the others were complaining while they lacked the technology & were giving their customers incorrect prices. I did an editorial on my web site last June that covers it in more detail.
