I hope my comments are not negative. I spend enough of my year in Egypt to have some small understanding of what goes on here. The country is not dry, but the airline is: so are the airport lounges.

To force the issue, as an outsider, you might well get away with boozing in an environment where that activity is not welcome: but to do so you abuse your position as a guest.

I'm sorry you can't understand that it is boorish to ride roughshod over the sensibilities of others, but there we are.
