I HAVE landed in PUS before and it's not that much of an airstrip/airport, whatever you wanna call it. It is a ride coming down, through the mountains and to the airport on the approach, but in the fog and rain, and the closed airport, I can't believe they tried to land... 3 times!

If they did need to land immediately, Taegu is less than 45 miles away and they could have landed there or flown the 1 hr to ICN.

Thoughts and prayers to all involved in this sad tragedy...
