Years ago I was a frequent guest of the Pulizer and the rooms are very hit and miss. A lot of them are really awful.
The Andaz has been almost rebuild from the library it once was. So the rooms follow the layout you would expect. You should have no problems there, and Diamond recognition is good. It's just the prices that are a problem...

I'm also a fan of the Art’otel Amsterdam, a Club Carlson property where you might be able to use points or even the F&F rate.
