It's pretty obvious you're just being asinine. A pencil costs less than a dollar. Do you really not know what the free market value of something means?

I know you're going to respond with something ridiculous like "but I can charge anything I want." There's something called an appraisal. I buy rentals on the side and come to terms with the seller for what to pay. But the bank that does the mortgage gets an appraisal to determine the actual value. Oh sure I'm just a slumlord, what do I know.
