Was flying F from SLC-DEN last week on CRJ-900, and asked for decaf coffee. FA said that decaf was not available, and my only option for coffee was regular.

Is this a CRJ thing? I know they don't always make a pot of decaf, so they usually have to brew it for you (yes, from the fetid tank water). But, I've never just been told no, even in Y. I could understand if she thought the flight wasn't long enough to brew a pot of coffee, but she could have said that. Just curious if anyone else has encountered this - FA service was all around pretty poor on that flight, so I wouldn't be surprised if FA was just too lazy to make an extra pot of coffee.
