A trip up the Smith Tower is actually pretty good for the views. The price, $7.50 pp, at first seemed a bit dear to me, but I suppose it is pretty cheap when compared to the Space Needle. As a bonus you get to see the Space Needle from the Smith Tower. There is also a great view of the stadiums.
I'd never gone up when I actually lived in the Seattle area, but having gone up to the top of the Smith Tower last week, I thought it was pretty cool.
