Speaking of tsubo, I find these units quite interesting, wonder why tsubo is the area of 2 tatami mats and not say, 6 which makes up a normal room. Maybe 2 tatami mats make up the size of the futon closet?
Then there is of course the point that most tatami mats are not the same size !
