I too had an account shut down. I've been cycling
A --> B --> C --> D --> E --> A
for about 2 years also. B, my wife with different last name, got shut down when I added her as an AU on arrival and then she added that card on AP and they rejected the payment and shut her down.
Account A, with the same CC, stayed open no issues.
