Given the situation in F where they never load enough vegetarian/heathy options, I'd rather be on AA where you can pre order and they seem to have a pasta most of the time.
Pre-merger UA did allow you to pre-select VGML (which, ostensibly, was for lacto-ovo vegetarians); however, they normally just catered the vegan meal (which would meet the parameters for a lacto-ovo vegetarian). Because of this, I normally played the entree roulette and tried to get the pasta when offered (at least in domestic First). Sometimes, discreetly letting the pursuer know I was a vegetarian resulted in some consideration when they did meal choices.
