Sorry about the confusion on my post before. I actually meant to say that the Air Canada 787 J cabins are in the reverse Herringbone style i.e. the style that you just described in your post.
I'm pretty sure the 787 is narrower on the inside and the 77W interior will to fit. I'm sure there are alternative solutions mind you.
I believe that QR & AC have the best layout, although I think it takes up more real estate than some other versions. Personally, I would pay a premium for a J that avoids having a passenger crawl over another, or avoids flying backwards.
