I'm on a Canadian passport.

I was issued a "Temporary Special Visa" because of the World Cup in June/July. The Brazilian Consulate in Ottawa recently confirmed that my visa expired 90 days after the day of first entry and the visa cannot be extended. They have suggested to speak with the Brazilian consulate in BA but they've not returned phone calls or emails.

Hopefully something can be done to sort out my checked baggage situation.
