Perhaps the airlines should be required to include the width and pitch along with the full price in all their advertising (including web sites). That will help people make informed decisions.
I'm glad you brought this up. I think it's finally time we add the seats with 26" pitch and 15" width. That will fit smaller people just as well as 30"/17" fits larger people. That way the plane can have some 34"/19" seats and everyone wins. That way everyone is paying for the space they are using and the airlines can carry the same number of pax.
