This is another hard kick to my gentleman's area. I've racked up over 270k VS miles since last November to use on the NRT route. After the cancellation announcement I've just had to shell out far more Avios and cash to book the equivalent flights on OW. Then VS announce a reward sale. Gutted I can't book the NRT flights I had planned for in this sale - would have been immense value. I'm bound by school holidays. I've checked various other VS destinations for Xmas and Easter holidays - no availability for the number of seats I'd need and on dates making the trip long enough to be worthwhile. I may need to redeem my miles with Virgin Wines to drown my sorrows
