Renting at Catania airport was a very bad experience. Especially to give the car back. No clear indication where to go, people waiting everywhere to get an Hertz person to help. I nearly missed my plane because of this.
I got a car upgrade, maybe because i had the gold card.
Staff people were friendly but they are clearly under-staffed. Too many people renting the Hertz :-)
Quality of the cars at this location was good to very good.
