Whenever there's a customer friendly section of the CoC it's because the DOT mandated it otherwise it's a one-sided list of noncommittal lawyer speak. That's the nature of business these days.
Although not explicitly spelled out in the CoC, by mandate of the DOT you always have the option of getting a full refund for unused segments in event were airlines fail to perform to schedule (as posted at time of purchase). Be it MX, WX or schedule change. Sometimes it's worth looking at what the walk up price is for another airline.
