Only the elite member can book the rate as I am sure you are already aware.
The hotel would have to take her account number off at check out and add yours
I'm not so sure the hotel would do it and it would certainly not be in keeping with the actual terms and conditions of rate usage.
And could backfire.
I have no experience at something like that and certainly not recommending doing so.
Cash and Point rates on the other hand are typically the same as revenue rates from all my conversations with the Hyatt folks.
On the current targeted promotion which I am currently participating I expect to earn the full 50k after 20 nights using a number of nights on cash and point bookings.
