"No change fee. You only pay any difference in fare."
Thanks Dave. Yes, I guess my point is that headlines should at least indicate any major restrictions such as this. One should not have to be expected to read the small print to figure out that all is not as it seems. Still, on the upside, I just boarded at ARN (for LCY) and have been warmly greeted by the same crew who flew me out yesterday. Those are the moments with BA that help some of the annoyance to dissipate...
