I usually wear my Rolex to work often and today I was running a bit late so I told my wife to put the Rolex in my coat pocket. So on my way to work today (late for a presentation), once I arrived in the parking lot and put on my coat, I believe the watch fell out of the pocket, but due to someone having loud music blasting I didn't even hear it fall. After the presentation I realized the watch wasn't in my coat and immediately started panicking and went back to where I parked my car...but no luck.

Sorry for the long explanation, since I bought this with my Platinum card can I claim it as lost? Even though the watch cost me closer to 16K, at least I can get something back?

Has anyone been in a similar situation with a high priced item like this with the AMEX Platinum card?? Someone please help
