I wouldn't necessarily assume so... I've taken them 3 times in the last year, and while they seem to serve more infrequent fliers, it really never felt like they fliers were folks who enjoyed double-entendre adds more than the next guy. I don't think they're targeting a demographic - I think it's a cheap way to expand the number of people who hear about spirit by creating controversy.
I think their adds can be funny - the Weiner gate ads in particular made me smile, just because Weiner gate was so ridiculous. This one... less so.
