I have to say that I really don't understand passengers that flout or ignore hand baggage rules. Rules is rules surely?
Hubby and I have a J trip to Australia early next year that involves 5 centres and lots of internal flights. I may be slightly anal but I have researched airline cabin luggage limits and I am making sure that I am within those limits on all those flights.
Why is it deemed acceptable these days to ignore rules?
I do also often think about total luggage weight limits, if all pax overpacked their hold luggage by 5kgs then what risk does that pose to take off weight or fuel calculations. As someone who has regularly flown in light aircraft I guess I am more aware of weight but surely your leisure traveller considers this when packing, they must appreciate why these limits are in place?
