Flew from ORD-DFW this morning and was pleasantly surprised that this route has actually been upgraded in terms of breakfast service. The old 'Continental' breakfast consisted of a tiny cup of yogurt, fruit, and a choice of pastries.
The new choices today were:
+ Cheese Omelette served with roasted potatoes and turkey sausage
+ Oatmeal with dried fruit on side
Both came with sliced fruit and the option to have a biscuit. This is a big upgrade for this route; I used to never eat breakfast as I try to avoid carbs. The omelette and sausage were actually quite decent.
