I stayed at both shortly after they opened and prefer the St. Regis in every way. Pools and rooms are a bit nicer, and the service at PH was pretty amateurish. However, the steakhouse at St. Regis was mediocre.

Still, not a great difference. I would probably choose based on loyalty program and price.
