I just made a clumsy mistake and booked a flight on Tarom from IST-OTP, but I made the booking for 1 day later than I wanted.

I would like to cancel and rebook, but I can't find any wording about 24hr cancellations anywhere on https://www.tarom.ro/

Does anyone here have experience with Tarom and cancelling a reservation that was just purchased?

The trip is in November, and I just purchased the IST-OTP portion at 10:00 eastern US time.

The only thing I can find on Tarom.ro is that I should go the sales office in my city of departure. Obviously, that doesn't really help me.

I was trying to set this up so I could connect directly from my flight to IST and continue on to Bucharest. But I purchased the wrong date.

Now I am thinking I may just use my yearly one free IHG night, and check out the Intercontinental Istanbul. I bought the tickets to IST for November, and I just wanted to take a couple of days and pop up to Bucharest while I was in the neighborhood.


After the long flight from the US, a night at the Intercontinental might be a refreshing break.
