Are Boeing 737 aircraft safe with current rudders?
NTSB is apparently now issuing a report regarding ther hydralic system and rudder control which is not particularly favorable to Boeing. I guess the latest Bueons Aires crash on top of Pittsburgh (US Air) and Coloarado (UA) has raised some eyebrows. One path hydralics is not the current norm and it will cost a fortune to fix with over 800 of these in current use- but hopefully they will be altered in the interest of safety and future losses will be prevented. BA says the chances of a mishap are extremely small (`2 in a million) and I do feel safe on these planes but it is worth the money surely, IMHO to do the fix promptly.
