I also find that LH crew tend to stick to the script more. You do get the odd chatty Purser - had one on DXB-FRA who was superb and did add personality in both German and English! On LX, I've heard four languages before!

Staff wearing a language badge quite often leave it to the tape I've noticed. IE a German speaker might still play the tape on a FRA. Strange!
