We stayed at the GH and had a lovely suite upgrade as a diamond member. The location was decent and the breakfast was okay, not really great. For shopping, the tower and a few other things the location is great, although I much preferred our view from the Waldorf when we stayed there previously. Taxi's are very cheap and therefore your location isn't quite as important. I would highly recommend taxi's over the subway. It was so crowded when we took a subway that my wife started crying and we had to get off. I would never take one there again. It is very easy to have the hotel print out any locations that you want to go to. The tea house scam is in full force, so be careful not to fall for that one.
