Oh, one more thing Re: Charleston Place - you may especially find this interesting. [I agree it's on the up and up, refurb and renovation wise, but I'm not sold on making it my hotel of choice...yet]
Apparently Virtuoso has wanted to explore other CHS options, and other hotels have applied for preferred partner status w/ Virtuoso. Charleston Place (read: Belmond) has been "blocking" the addition of any new hotels in the HD. I see why - they want to be the only V option in the HD...but it is interesting that others are applying.
FWIW, the word is if there's a new Virtuoso hotel in the HD, Market Pavilion would be it.
