Another drive would be to go east - I didn't think of this last night when I did my first two routes.

This route puts you in Austrian wine country for a few days in one of my favorite parts of Austria, the Wachau.

Day 1 From Sindelfingen drive to Munich, stay at Vier Jahreszeiten.

Day 4 From Munich, drive to Berchtesgaden, stay at the IC Berchtesgaden.

Day 6 From Berchtesgaden to Dürnstein, stay at Hotel Schloß Dürnstein

Day 8 From Dürnstein to Vienna, stay at one of the following: Kempinski Palais Hansen, RC Vienna, Park Hyatt, Imperial, Bristol, Sacher. (This is all a matter of personal preference)

Day 11 From Vienna, drive to Bratislava, stay at Kempinski River Park.

Day 13 From Bratislava, drive to Munich, stay at Kempinski Munich Airport and drop car off across the street from the hotel.
